Forum Post: RE: Can we NOT opt to neither Select Open nor Select Basic?
The usage limits apply to all 24 hours of all days. Therefore, can one save 'roll-over' hours for non-usage? Each hour that I did not use the software, should be stored as bank or credit.

Hi, This is currently not in the design of SELECTserver so therefore it isn't possible to use this workfow. Thank you, Glenn

View ArticleForum Post: Server log file / wrong time stamp
We have defined site time zone to be UTC +1h, but I don't think the license logs are correct. Application Usage By Hour shows that license logs are stamped by UTC. SR 7000220520 filed.

Probably it is possible to restrict usage without third party software after all. Select Server has these settings on the first page. Now if one would check both of them below and enter a max number...
View ArticleForum Post: RE: Usage restrictions possible after all?
Hi, Each license is "in use" during the entire time that it is checked out. The usage would be counted the same way that a non-checked out license would be counted--so turning the license in at 8:01...

I also agree, and so does my boss.

Practically this isn't possible to do, that's why we have bought a third party software to manage that. The very interesting thing now is that we still have problems, but this is something we are...
