DavidG My understanding is the difference between old and new from a billing stand point is. Hm, want to change wording: 1. Old billing "SELECT Program": there was no afterwards billing. After Overuse it was between Bentley and Customer to negotiate stocking up lic's accordingly. If yes, you had to purchase permanent licenses, there was no other option (apart from moving to ELS Program). Bentley plans to remove the technology of old License Servers, so maybe we can't have it that way anymore. 2. New Billing "SELECT Open Access": You CAN apply that program. You don't have to. If yes, you are billed for Overuse afterwards per quarter, 14%. Same can happen for products you never had any license for. And you benefit from that training program. You can then avoid overuse by purchasing more permanent licenses. 3. If you don't want 2., Bentley wants to AUTOMATICALLY move you to "SELECT Basic Access": You are billed for Overuse afterwards per quarter, 16%. For products you never had any license for, that doesn't work. You don't benefit from that training program. You can the avoid overuse by purchasing more permanent licenses. I ask myself, if Bentley really thinks, they can force some of us from old program 1. to program 3 against our will, without having us to willingly sign up (agree) for that change. Bigean
