I had initially installed a trail version of ConceptStation which has since expired. I now have enrolled in the Bentley Academic program and been assigned a school a Site Activation Key. I go thought the process of activating the ConceptStation software, it says "my product activation is now complete. You may use your product"; however when I start OpenRoads ConceptStation again, it displays the same "Your 7 day trail of OpenRoads ConceptStation has Expired" statement! I have installed other products such as Power GeoPAK and Context Capture using my same Site Activation Key, and they open and work fine. Here are the detailed steps and dialog that I encounter as I try to activate OpenRoads ConceptStation license: 1. I try to open ConceptStation. 2. I receive a dialog box stating "Your 7 day trail of OpenRoads ConceptStation has Expired" 3. I select the "Activate" option. 4. I select the "SELECT subscriber activating against a hosted (Bentley) SELECT server" option. 5. The Server Name option has "selectserver.bentley.com" (this is grayed out, I cannot change this option). 6. I enter my Site Activation Key that was issued to me. 7. I press the Test Connection option, test response is "SELECT Sever and Site Activation Key verified". 8. It processes and then displays a dialog stating "Your product activation is now complete. You may use your product". It appear that everything has worked correctly and my software should be working; however, when I start OpenRoads ConceptStation again, it still displays the same "Your 7 day trail of OpenRoads ConceptStation has Expired" statement!!! I have tried this several numerous times and it just keeps giving me the same results outline above. I have also uninstalled the software, download a newer version, and installed the newer version; that did not work. I have also tried deleting all the ConceptStation entries in the registry, reinstalling the software, and that did not work. Any solution or suggestions would be greatly appreciate as I time over the next several days that I am able to devote to learning this software; unfortunately for me, it is the holidays and the Bentley Technical Support staff will not be available.
