The internal heartbeat used for logging usage is executed locally on the client machine, extending the end time stamp as the product is still found running. If a client machine is put to sleep, the internal heartbeat loop is also suspended. Because usage is normally recorded locally (with the exception of a checked out license), the internal heartbeat has no knowledge of the suspension. So when it resumes, it finds the product still running and extends the end time stamp. As an alternative explanation, the user could have checked out a license for MicroStation. Because checkouts are intended for offline use, product usage is continuously recorded on the server end until either the checkout expiration date is reached or the license is checked in early. If such usage crossed a midnight UTC boundary, which is likely for 19 hours, it would appear as checked out usage in SELECTserver's Daily Peak Usage report.
